About

When it comes to politics, there are few places in the United States that are as exciting, or significant, as New Hampshire. New Hampshire’s “First in the Nation” primary is the place to be for candidates, surrogates, commentators, and anyone interested in the process that elects our nation’s highest official.

Since the 2000 Presidential Election cycle, New England College has brought the electoral process to a new audience eager to learn and participate. In 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2012, nearly 1,000 college and high school students have convened at each “College Convention,” recently renamed the NH Primary Student Convention.

Organized and presented by New England College’s faculty, staff and students, this unique and exciting event features leading presidential candidates, national and international media, and participants from across the country for a face-to-face look at the people and issues that shape presidential primary campaigns.

In January 2016, shortly before the “First in the Nation” primary, New England College will again host the NH Primary Student Convention. Your understanding of the dynamics that influence public policy is important, and your involvement in the workings of democracy is crucial. NH Primary Student Convention 2016 is an opportunity to find out what it’s all about.

We invite you to be part of this exciting event. Join us where the road to the White House begins!
